Scholarships

Worldstudio AIGA Scholarships allow students from minority and economically disadvantaged backgrounds not only to realize their artistic dreams through design education, but also to give back to their communities.

History of the Fund

In 2007, the AIGA DC Board of Directors decided to create a scholarship initiative with the goal of increasing diversity in our profession by helping under-represented future designers go to college. We partnered with our Advisory Board to establish the Continuum Fund, An AIGA DC Endowment for Design Education. By administering the scholarship through the AIGA Worldstudio Scholarship Program, we’ve been able to focus our efforts on raising awareness and building the future endowment.
